City of Cambridge
Approximately a two hours’ drive from Central London, travel to Cambridge in the comfort of any of our luxury vehicles for a tour of this historic university town. Enjoy the scenic views of the Cambridgeshire countryside along your way. Cambridge dates back to the 13th Century making it the second oldest university after Oxford, made up of 31 colleges. Walk around the wonderful charming streets, visit the famous Trinity Hall where the late Professor Stephen Hawkins taught and resided following in the footsteps of Sir Isaac Newton. This magnificent City will leave you with wonderful memories following your visit.
The Colleges
Walking along the banks of the River Cam, take in the breathtaking historic sites including the Bridge of Sighs and Corpus Clock, an enormous embellished metal clock that hangs outside Cambridge’s Corpus Christi College. Time and weather permitting, you may want to take a punt on the river itself. Needless to say, we will be on hand to suggest a great place for lunch or tea. In addition to the above, as an optional add-on service, we are happy to engage a local ‘blue badge’ expert guide to walk with you through the town and its wonders, providing you with additional historical background.
