One of our regular clients, a CEO of a major European pharmaceutical corporate was due to come to London on one of his usual crammed day trips. Our work started by liaising with his EA to confirm the feasibility of scheduled appointments and travel time between each appointment to allow for the day to run smoothly, while the return flight remained flexible in terms of exact departure time and airport.
On hand to assist
Our Chauffeur had a printed version of the day’s meetings and once in the car, will go through the plan with the CEO who will give an indication of ‘his’ plans for the day. We pass him a pack of Company paraphernalia and a few of his business cards that we keep with us. It was clear from the agenda that no lunch meeting was organised and so our Chauffeur was tasked with organising something for him to have in the car in-between meetings.
Available and flexible
As a decision was due as to which flight our client would depart on, he informed us that there was a dinner that he was invited to attend and requested we pass on the details to his EA and arrange for a room at his usual hotel for the night and return flight late morning the following day to allow for a breakfast meeting before his departure. Our Chauffeur remained with him for the evening and picked him up in the morning as needed for his transfer to the airport.
Job complete
Although much forward planning goes into organising such a trip, it is quite common that changes will occur, as they did on this occasion as well. We are extremely flexible to assist in such cases, our chauffeurs are familiar with ever-changing plans and are able to adapt and accommodate as a matter of course. Our clients rely on us and this kind of service strengthens our relationship and develops a long term partnership.
